In 2004, 100 years after his grand-grandfather started his Jewelry Factory in the Black Forrest, in the Southwest of Germany, Horst Albert Guthmann established his Team G&G Growing Good.

G&G stands for the solid values we refined over four generations in our entrepreneurial family: Resilience, Innovation, and Efficiency. Albert earned his wings in 1991 working as a Management Consultant with Deloitte, Roland Berger, and Droege Group and has navigated hundreds of critical initiatives in Europe, USA, Asia, and India to success. Albert helped his Clients master 7 international crises.

Albert is trained as a Goldsmith and Banker, an Airborne Veteran, and a licensed Maritime Captain. He holds his Master of Arts in Business, IT, and Philosophy from the University of Zurich and Paris Sorbonne and is an agile hybrid trained, certified PMP by PMI (Project Management Institute; PA). Albert has seen the world and has fallen in love with Hawai’i in 1998.

Albert lived in Zurich, Paris, Düsseldorf, New York, Munich. He is Honolulu Resident since 2015 when he established G&G LLC, Growing Good in Honolulu.

Today, Albert enjoys working in and for the local Community, helping Hawai’i to become an even better and more sustainable place.
